Vaska Advanced Botanicals Herbatergent

Before utilizing Vaska herbatergent in light lavender scent, I was quite concerned about its compatibility with my energy efficient washing machine.  However, there was no need to worry, because Vaska products are high efficiency machine friendly, 2x concentrated, and can wash up to 32 loads of laundry.  In addition, Herbatergent uses natural herbal cleaning agents (plant-based surfactants, vegetable conditioner, water-soluble degreasing agent, lavender extract, lavender scent, and filtered water) to fight germs and remove soap residue that might damage fabrics and cause skin irritation. Ecologically, Vaska Herbatergent (scent free) has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Design for the Environment program, as a safe alternate for both people and the environment.

Although there are many positive aspects to this product, there was also one negative.  The clothes tend to loose the light lavender scent after you remove them from the dryer.  The scent is quite invigorating, and I was hoping it would freshen up my clothing.  Regardless of its slight deficiencies, Vaska is voluntarily committed to developing products that break down quickly to non-polluting compounds and help protect aquatic life in both fresh and salt water.
