Universol Aromas Cranberry Spice Soy Candle

As candles go a majority of them have an overpowering scent, which can be bothersome for those with a sensitive nose to perfumes and other scents. However, this was surprisingly not the case for Universol Aromas Soy Candle Co. Its Cranberry Spice candle was pleasantly fragrant when lit, as it gives off a subtle aroma filling a room. Yet, this was only noticeable if you left the room for a while and came back in. The scent did not seem strong enough when you sat in the same room with the candle for a longer period of time. It didn’t act any different than a normal paraffin candle other than less overpowering than most. If it weren’t labeled I would have thought it was a usual paraffin candle.

I did very much enjoy the self-contained tin it comes in; I don’t have to worry about it melting on any other surface ruining it. Perhaps when the candle is finish I could even use it to hold small items, like tacks or paperclips, even change. Even if I didn’t keep it I can recycle it of course, since it is already made from 100% recyclable aluminum.

Since the Cranberry Spice was such a good scent I went to their site to see what other creative scents they might have. Besides having 50 different scents for their 2oz. Soy Travel Tin Candles, I was happy to learn that these small candles will burn for 10-15 hours thanks to their 100% cotton/hemp wick. This is a great company with so many types of candles and scents to choose from “birthday cake” to frankincense and myrrh. I recommend this company if you want an alternative to paraffin candles with a subtle fragrance throughout your home, besides they give 10% back of proceeds they make to various charities.
