I definitely can have a weakness when it comes to sweets, but I at least try to limit my intake or make sure they are made with whole grains, so I know they are a bit healthier.
I struck gold when I got to review Snikiddy Chocolate Chip Bites. A Mom and Daughter team, using only natural ingredients created these great mini cookies. I am so happy they have no preservatives, hydrogenated oils, trans fats or corn syrup. The very first ingredient is whole wheat flour, which helps to contain the 10 grams of whole grains, along with 3 grams of fiber.
I love the small size of these cookies, their great size even allows you to have 5 cookies per serving size, so you don’t have to just eat one. Their taste may be something that needs to be acquired for those not used to eating whole wheat flour, but they do have a distinctly different taste than all the other whole wheat products I usually eat. I’m not saying it is a bad taste just something new, yet still enjoyable. Once you are used to the whole wheat flour, then you can enjoy these cookies knowing they are that much more healthier for you than regular cookies.
