As we speak i’m not only drinking Flying Dog Brewery’s Snake Dog IPA, but I’m really enjoying it. It’s hoppy but not overpowering like the 120 I drank from Dogfish Head last Saturday. The specialty hops come direct from the Pacific Northwest. It’s got a subtle hint of citrus and is very smooth and refreshing. It’s not such a strong IPA with only 5.8% ABV, but it sure is good.
Flying Dog Ales is a craft brewery from Colorado. Their designs and logos are awesome too. The best part is, that they “recycle our used grain by giving it to local farmers to use as cattle feed.”
Thanks for your good review on the Snake Dog! Glad you enjoyed it. Your sample of Dogtoberfest should be arriving soon and hope you enjoy it as much as the IPA. Cheers, Steph
