Shift Your Habit by Elizabeth Rogers is one of the better “go green” books that I’ve read because it attaches dollar amounts to each action taken. It also totals up each section to give a grand total for a chapter’s worth of “shifts” made.
When you talk money and savings that is something that people can relate too. Rogers knows this and uses it throughout the book.
Most of the shifts in the book are simple and can easily be performed. Not only will they make a difference for the planet, but they will also make a difference in your wallet as well.
Shifts are broken down into different categories including Work, Transportation & Travel, Health, Parenting, Home & Garden, Pets, to Holidays & Celebrations and more.
