Santa Cruz Organic TeaZers

If you look in my refrigerator the only drink choices you will usually find are water and organic milk and the occasional bottle of white wine chilling.  That isn’t to say my family wouldn’t like other things, but let’s face it, we only really NEED water.  My husband is the iced tea lover in the house so when Santa Cruz made this offer to try some of their organic and fairly traded teas I was ready to provide my husband a break from just water and thought maybe even my younger son would like to give them a try.  We received a variety of the teas which included peppermint, raspberry, and mango (and others). We also received several 4-packs of the TeaZers, which are sparkling, organic, sweetened flavored teas. Some of the TeaZer flavors included Passionfruit, Pear, and Raspberry.  I thought these would fun for my son since they had that special extra fizz.

For me, they were all too sweet. I am truly just a water drinker so anything is sweet to me, but my son was pleased and really enjoyed the Santa Cruz TeaZers and especially the fact he got his own personal bottle to drink each time.  My husband tried them, too and he preferred the Lemon in the regular tea and the TeaZer since it was the closest to him to having regular iced tea, as he calls it.  He is just not big on flavored beverages.  I don’t think anyone is doing cartwheels over the teas or TeaZers, but I will say this, seeing the USDA Organic seal along with the Fair Trade Certified Seal makes me feel great about bringing these beverages into my home.  A great sustainability initiative that they share on each of the bottles is that 100% of the electricity used to make each product is offset with renewable energy certificates!  Great bonus!
