No-Bake Peppermint Joe Joe’s Cheesecake Jars
The start of my holiday season always begins with watching Home Alone and having something peppermint flavored. Whether it be peppermint hot cocoa, peppermint bark or an actual candy cane. These are all the first signs of the season of baking and sweet treats. Instead of just on snacking on Trader Joe’s Candy Cane Joe Joe’s, I decided to make my first sweet treat of the season, No-Bake Peppermint Joe Joe’s Cheesecake Jars.
I thought why not actually make dessert out of the seasonal treats we love. By making them into a dessert and putting them in jars, I feel it helps to create super easy single servings. Making them ready and available for your holiday guests or your portion control needs.
Here’s a handy step-by-step how to make this sweet peppermint treat.
Crush cookies in a bag or food processor.
Add melted butter to cookie crumbs
Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks
Cream together sugar and cream cheese
Fill jars with cookie crumbs, then cream cheese filling – alternating layers
Questions of the day:
What’s you favorite way to start your holiday season?
Do you have a Trader Joe’s near you?
If so, have you tried their Candy Cane Joe Joe’s?
