This community serviced based company basically is giving back to the world by selling bottled water, t-shirts and gum. It sounds like a strange concept but it’s all about grassroots marketing, by aiming at the average Joe and trying to spread the Project 7 vision in the packaging and design.
The water bottles are made from PET and the shirts are made from organic cotton and PET, a cyclical fashion statement.
Bottled water is easy to review and the water tasted just like purified water, but the bottle is strikingly bold.
Take a look at their site because Project 7 is trying to do something for the world and not just for themselves.
Is a company that manufactures bottled water really that green? They claim to be for so many great causes, but I feel as if their wares exacerbate the problem instead of helping out.
I agree with you. Plastic is bad either way, but at least they are doing other things to help the environment. I would not go out of my way to purchase their products, but we give everyone that claims to be green a fair chance.
What about Poland Spring and their ecobottle. That's just silly.
It is silly, lol. Greenwashing can be tricky, you have to watch what you buy…Just because a company claims to be green doesn't mean that they are!
It's not just the plastic from the water bottles that's bad for the environment. There are other factors to consider as well, like how much water it takes to actually manufacture the bottles and the oil it takes to transport them. It's rather heart breaking the amount of waste they create when there are so many people in the world who don't HAVE access to any clean drinking water. And then of course, there's all of the chemicals that can leach into your water, not something I consider green and friendly to the environment OR myself!
