Autumn is the season of change. We go from the bright, sunny, warm months of the summer to the darker, cooler months. While the trees turn colors from bright green to brown and orange, our bodies crave different flavors. We want heartier, earthier foods and beverages. Foods and drinks to keep us warm and make us feel all cozy.
With the end of summer brings a closure to the fruity, pale summer beers and into the rich, malty octoberfests, then into dark lagers and winter beers.
I like all beers, in my opinion the hoppier the better, but I?m a fan of all types. Orlio Organics, a new organic craft beer company based in Vermont, is starting off on the right foot. Orlio is a craft brewery. The beer is created using organic ingredients. The certified organic ingredients lend a hand in the chocolatey, roasted, slightly malty, hop flavor. The overall nose is a deep and rich chocolate, almost sweet coffee. The relaxing, comforting taste is perfect for those cool fall nights and those cold winter nights.
Orlio can be found in the greater Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and North Carolina areas. If you live in New Jersey, we will have to patient.
Check out Orlio.net for more information. Drop them an email, they don?t bite. In fact, the opposite. I met Kate and others at the Expo East and they are great people with a unique and great mission. I am proud to wear my Orlio shirt and my car will have an Orlio sticker too.
