Business cards made with recycled paper are becoming more and more popular each day with many local print shops offer recycled paper, some offer soy ink, low VOC ink, and even non toxic solutions. However, there are not many on the web that you can visit and design your card and have it shipped out to you pretty quickly.
That is where Moo comes in. Moo started out my making half-sized cards and the still do, however, Moo has expanded to stickers, recycled paper cards and a few other fun selections. Moo’s web-based card designer is super easy to use and not discouraging for average Joe.
I received my Moo recycled paper cards and they look fantastic. I did not want them to be all glossy, but I did want them to be rugged and eco-chic and I believe Moo succeeded. The cards stand the test of the wallet, but they also come in a recycled cardboard holder. Open that guy up and you will see something pretty cool. I don’t want to give away what it is, but it’s neat!
I ordered some half-size card too and they are great, yet not made from recycled paper. I wanted to feel the difference and I can tell.
Give them a try, especially because they tie in so nicely with flickr and other web 2.0 guys out there.
Shoot us a @reply on twitter if you want to know what is in the cardboard box!
