Why spend money on cleaning products for your fruits and vegetables when you can just use tap water? The lotus Sanitizing System from Tersano makes this dream come to fruition. This countertop appliance resembles a large bowl and uses technology to oxygenate water. The Oxyshield technology uses ordinary tap water and allows you to effectively clean fruits and vegetables and even your countertops!
To find out more about lotus, check their website for all the details.
Oxyshield adds ozone to water thus creating a highly effective and environmentally safe cleaning product. The system that I am using contains a spray bottle for a few items or a large bowl for multiple items. It also contains refill cartridges and micro fiber cloths. Tersano also sells other parts such as toothbrushes and baby bottle cleaners.
I?ve been using the lotus sanitizing system for a few months and I have to admit, my produce is cleaner than it was just by using basic soap and water or vegetable wash. The best part is, NO chemicals are added to the produce.
The system takes a few minutes to oxygenate the water, but there is a handy percent counter to help you pass the time. I like how clean the produce not only looks but feels after the initial washing. Maybe it?s my imagination, but my produce looks cleaner and brighter then it did at the store.
You can purchase lotus systems online as well as retailers such as Linens n Things, Bed, Bath and Beyond and Costco.
Check it out on the web and see what other people think, but get it now before it sells out because it?s a great product!
The booster cartridge will last you about 90 cycles or 3 months of regular use. There is also a window on the cartridge and the beads will turn from orange to green when you need to change it so you have this feedback as well as a warning by our system to double-check when it may need changing. By not changing the cartridge it will just take our system longer to reach 100%, but it should still get there.
I have a bunny who got a parasite and the vet thinks it came from her Romaine lettuce. Will this kill parasites on or in Romaine lettuce or other greens?
Does it remove the pesticides and chemicals on the fruits and vegetables? Or is that removal is effective as thorough washing? The literature clearly states it removes bacteria.
Thanks, Garrett Boone

I will replace it when needed. Once I run it around 80 times, I will replace it. I haven't run it that many times yet.
How often do you replace the booster pack? 4 for 20 bucks? 90 cycles… how fast does that go?

Thanks for the info Steve!
