Mineral make up is expected to be light and non-pore clogging; Everyday Minerals does both of these things. Since I don’t wear blush, I asked a friend who does, to try it out and compare it to their usual. This company gives their products such great names, the blush I received was named Salon Fun, it’s a bright cheery true pink with hints of raspberry.
The container for the blush is very convenient, the top has a half-moon that rotates to allow the loose powder to be used or kept from spilling. I have yet to find this feature on any other loose powder products, which is definitely a great added bonus to the container.
The only problem with the blush is that it didn’t blend well on the skin, to even out the color. This was a large determining factor in deciding that the blush wasn’t as smooth as it claims to be and wouldn’t be something I would recommend.
Everyday Minerals Eye Shadow is something that I wear almost everyday now. I received two colors to review, both happily named Comfy and Tide Pool. I much prefer the Comfy color, which is close to copper with hints of shimmer, instead of Tide Pool, which is more like a lavender color.
As the saying goes, “a little goes a long way,” which is definitely the case with these eye shadows. The powders seem very dense and a very small amount is enough for both eyes. I had no problems with that, since they will certainly last longer that way. Everyday Minerals has many other color options to choose from, with fun names like, Funnel Cake and Hot Chocolate, they even have a color called Eco-Friendly.
If you are looking for some mineral makeup on a budget, this company is definitely the way to go compared to other brand named mineral products.
