These artisans really know how to be environmentally conscious, hip, and creative all at the same time. I recently traded in my vegan wallet filled with tons of discount cards and old receipts in for a db clay Version 3 wallet made from Tope. Tope is a custom and eco friendly textile. Engineered by db clay, Tope is sleek material made of synthetic fibers similar to vinyl, yet Tope contains no PVC. Tope is made from non-toxic raw materials, containing no dioxin, heavy metal or phthalate pollution. Tope is actually biodegradable and vegan with eco friendly inks to print the elegant and beautiful designs.

db clay‘s Version 3 wallets are sleek on the outside and rugged on the inside. There are 4 pockets on the face of the inside with two underneath for extra room. I’ve recently slimmed down my wallet to the essentials in an effort to be less cluttered. After almost a month of using the wallet day in and day out, there is no sign of wear and tear. No stretched out edges, no discoloring, nothing falling apart. Their website is as sleek and user friendly as their wallets.

What started out as Duct Tape wallet company from Portland, has recently transformed into a artisan indie wallet company. Hipsters both young and old would love these wallets. The prints are cool too. The dark bark, which I am currently using is like taking a picture from inside a tree.
