Clean Green Home Cleaning Service

I had the great fortune to review a certified green cleaning service.  Jennifer and I communicated via email to set up the initial consultation.  My first thought was that if she is coming out to first see what will need to be cleaned then she better come in a Hybrid being it’s a green company.  When she arrived in her Nissan Cube I was surprised but at the same time glad that she drives a car that has low emissions and good mileage.   It makes sense for a cleaning company to have a vehicle that can carry multiple people and the gear and products needed for the service.  With that said, whether she came in a big van or a small hybrid, come in one car for the job itself is most important to me.

When Jennifer came to see the place I first walked her around to each room.  She wrote some things in her notepad and then asked if I wanted to see the products. Of course!  I was glad to see some familiar products in her basket of goodies.  I also saw some products I never heard of, some home made products and some remedies that grandma would know about.

Jennifer informed me that I had a choice of scented oil that will be burning while the cleaning crew is working.   They do this because the cleaning products they use have no scents.  Clean Green uses electric burners instead of an open flame as a safety so no fires are started in a person’s home.  My choices were Eucalyptus, Lavender, Geranium, Lemon, Orange, Pine & Cinnamon Leaf.  I chose Lavender.

On cleaning day the cleaning crew (a man and a woman) arrived in the Nissan Cube and got straight to work.  I was literally shocked at some of the things they were able to clean.  I bought my place from a couple that was quite dirty and although I was able to clean most of it there were some things that I just couldn’t do.  Clean Green actually did it!  A few months back I had my entire bathroom re-grouted and never had a chance to clean off all of the dried grout from the tiled walls.  Clean Green did it!

Each room was cleaned from floor to ceiling, corner to corner.  They used an industrial vacuum backpack that insures that nothing goes back into the air.  The microwave, toaster oven, range and fans were all cleaned.  The couch was moved and the floor underneath was cleaned.  The crew worked for about 3 hours and my condo never looked so good!

A company like Clean Green Co really does deserve a round of applause.  They worked their butts off, did what was advertised and were very kind.  It’s the little things that they did that made me smile.  Including the handwritten note left on my dining room table with a quote from Albert Einstein: I never worry about the future.  It comes soon enough.
