Organic Ingredients, cheese and a blend of spices create one light and easy to cook focaccia. The instructions say the bread can be microwaved or toasted or a combination of both. I opted for both. Microwave for 3 minutes until defrosted then toast for 3 to 4 minutes and the focaccia is perfect.
The soft yet easily breakable crust cooks up without burning, and the inside is full of the cheese and tomatoes. The filling melts together and remains hot and creamy.
The bread has a decent amount of fat, carbs and sodium, but it is cheese stuffed bread so remember that. I added a side salad of spinach, vegan bacon and cucumber, and hard boiled eggs and I was set.
Cedarlane has been producing fresh, healthy, frozen foods for around 25 years and they do a good job. When you’re at your local market, look for the Cedarlane packaging. Its simple packaging shows what you will actually eat and clearly states if it’s organic, low fat, etc. I’m excited to try some different products from Cedarlane.
Look for Cedarlane at many of the giant supermarkets nationwide and the small markets too.
