Brew York presents: Beer 2 Garden. A Charity for East New York Farms

We here at Leafygreen.info, if you don’t know, are big fans of craft beer and local farms.  In fact, so much that we’re helping to sponsor an event in Brooklyn NY later this month to benefit East New York Farms.  Brew York, is a group of beer & food bloggers and all around craft beer enthusiasts from around the greater NYC area with a few friends around the country that I’m proud to be a member of.  You can follow the group’s sites/tweets/facebooks/etc @ facebook.com/BrewYork.  Well, thanks to some of our friends such as Dogfish Head, Sixpoint and Southampton, we’ve put together a great event @ d.b.a. on September 29.  Check out the flyer below and we hope to see you all there and please reply to the Facebook event if you’re attending.

There 8 taps are going to be amazing.  I don’t want to give away all of the secrets, but it goes a bit like this.

Southampton – Cask North Fork Fresh Hop ESB (fresh wet hops from a local farm)
Greenport Harbor – DIPA
Dogfish Head – Bitches Brew (can you say amazing??)
Brewery Ommegang – BPA
Kelso of Brooklyn – Kellerfest (octoberfest)
