Zico Passion Fruit & Orange Peel Coconut Water
As I’ve stated many times before, I am not a fan of coconut, but coconut water is different. It doesn’t really taste like coconut to me. Zico, from New Jersey, makes three kinds of water. Natural Coconut, Mango and the one I am reviewing today, Passion Fruit and Orange Peel.
With nothing but all natural passion fruit and orange added, this coconut water is really good.
With 60 calories, no fat, 15 carbs and a TON of potassium, Zico is meant to be a great sports drink.
I just drank it for breakfast, and it gave me the boost of all natural energy that my body wanted.

If you liked Zico, I would have to recommend Vita Coco instead. You get all those great nutrients and electrolytes but it's tastier and it comes in cool flavors too. Vita Coco is also not owned by a huge beverage giant, like Coke, who owns Zico.
I completely agree with Bonnie, I tried Zico and I was disappointed. Vita Coco tastes amazing and there's so many flavors so I don't get bored.
Zico has changed… used to be great, was #1 for many coconut water lovers, it WAS natural 100% coconut water (all water that had come up through the tree, acquiring its magical qualities!), now Zico is partly owned by coke, they use a plastic bottle, and it is now from concentrate, bleh, so who knows where the water they are adding is coming from, completely changes the liquid. Not the same product at all.
I wouldn't buy this product. Ever since Zico was bought by Coca-Cola and put into those new plastic bottles it has been TERRIBLE. Not to mention the new formula is from concentrate. I much prefer Vita Coco.
AWFUL. I’ve been trying to replace my 3 gatorades a day with something more natural. This, however, is not a viable replacement. Vita Coco is so much better and much more effective.
Zico prides themselves on being “Nature’s Sports Drink” and ask consumers to “take the pledge to be natural.” But I found out that their product is not all natural, and has added ingredients that defeat the purpose of drinking coconut water at all.
I drink Vita Coco regularly. I passed by a supermarket the other day and all they had was Zico, so I decided to try it. It tastes like socks. And then I found out it’s not even all-natural. Vita Coco > Zico
I hate Zico too!!! ever since Cola bought it, it’s turned into crap. Vita coco is way better!!
You should try vita coco frozen as a sorbet, or use it in mixed drinks. Such a healthier alternative to sodas in mixed drinks, and still tastes just as good!
I love Vita Coco! I will definitely try the sorbet idea that sounds delicious. This stuff always cures my hangovers it's the most magical invention ever.
Vita coco is amazing! I highly recommend it to anyone who has a sweet tooth ands is looking for a healthy replacement for desserts. Not only does it have no artificial flavoring, cholesterol or fat it tastes amazing! The passion fruit flavor is my favorite but the others are great too.
