Adventure Exploring: House Mountain

In search of some fresh mountain air and vast views, I headed to the south for a change of pace as New Jersey has little to offer in the way of these feats of nature.

With a bit of research and confirmation of a gorgeous trail, I headed up to House Mountain State Natural Area for a day hike. The nearly 5-mile loop had some challenging areas and several view points from the mountaintop. A walk along the ridgeline made for a beautiful surprise each time we found a viewpoint.
